Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the School of Yoga app collects about you, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who is responsible

What we collect

Why we hold it

To let you sign in, to book you into classes and tell the studio who is coming, to open the classes you paid for, to send you announcements you agreed to receive, and to keep the records the law requires of a business that sells.

Who else sees it

Only the services that make the app work, and only what each of them needs:

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising. The online programmes are hosted by Thinkific; the app only reads their public catalogue, and nothing about you is sent there.

How long we keep it

Your account and its data are kept while your account exists. Delete your account from Profile in the app and they are deleted with it, except records we are required to keep for accounting, which are kept for the legal period and nothing more.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — deleting your account does the last of these immediately. You can turn notifications off in your phone's settings at any time. Write to hello@schoolof.yoga, and if you are in the European Union you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
